About the program
Community health work involves providing basic health care and education to community members with the goal of helping them adopt healthy behaviours. This role falls on the Community Health Workers (CHWs) who are often members of the community they serve and are trained to be responsive to their needs. This course designed to empower Community Health Workers (CHWs) to achieve these goals and also deliver health-related preventive services and collect data to help identify community health needs.
